The Golden State Warriors will host the Sacramento Kings at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Thursday evening.
Klay Thompson is currently participating in his 757th career game, tying him for fourth place on the Warriors' all-time games played tally, behind only Hall of Famer Nate Thurmond.
The subsequent target that Thompson will attempt to pass to after Thurmond is his colleague Draymond Green (776).
Thompson entered the evening with 40 games under his belt, averaging 17.4 points.
3.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per contest on a 38.9% three-point line and 42.5% from the field.
Despite a sluggish start to the year, he has significantly improved his play recently and has accumulated over 21 points in three of his last four contests.
