Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.

In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with yogurt.
